What is Vyncs?

Vyncs is Agnik's vehicle-based services platform for individual car owners. It offers exciting collection of services including comprehensive vehicle health monitoring, insurance benefits from usage-based insurance programs, and a wide-range of location-based services. Vyncs is powered by powerful patent protected technology that analyze vehicle data and transform it to easy to use actionable information.

How does it work?

Vyncs collects data from your vehicle's diagnostic port using an on-board dongle, and supplements it with GPS and accelerometer data. This data is analyzed and distilled by our sophisticated algorithms to generate Vyncs analytics. The analytics are then transferred to the server over the cellular wireless network. You can view all the information using your web account and smart phone Apps. Vyncs offers different types of onboard hardware:
 

  • Stand-alone device that has a built-in wide-area wireless modem.

  • Bluetooth device that works with your Bluetooth-enabled smart-phone.

What do I have to do?


Vyncs is very easy to use. Simply create an account in the Vyncs web portal and plug in the
Vyncs onboard dongle to the OBD port of your car (usually resides in the area under the
steering wheel above the gas pedal). You are good to go.
