2) Privacy-Preserving Data Mining Technology
Privacy is a major concern for telematic applications in the consumer market. Most people do not want the insurance company to track them everywhere they go. MineDrive makes use of Agnik's patent-protected privacy-preserving data mining technology
(developed for the United States Department of Homeland Security) that blends in cryptogrpahy with data analysis, allowing analysis of the "encrypted data" without revealing the raw driving data to the insurance company. This permits enforcement of well-defined policy-based access to the data. This allows the insurance company to score your driving without violating your privacy policies. That means no one needs to expose their every movement just because of a PAYD subscription.
